Long Week !!!

So just as Arthur, Addy, & I are recovering from a HORRIBLE Gut Retching stomach virus, Addy starts getting a fever last Saturday! 101.4 no big deal right...Wrong she continues to have a fever until it peeks Monday night to 103.5, OH, Just a HUGE scare...I had to get Art up because I wasn't feeling to great myself, soo we stripped her down naked, took off her diaper, and attempted to get her fever down, while she watched Barney. I tried to keep an ice pack on her head, POOR ART, when Addy is sick all she wants is mommy and he is left worrying and pacing. The Tylenol Finally starts to kick in around 2:30am, her Fever has come down to 102, but she is starting to act more like our Addy! We all go to bed, Addy wakes up at 8am with a high fever again, so I take her into her doc. She still has a temperature of 103.2 soo the doc. wanted some tests, a mouth culture, urine sample, & she gets two shots in each leg. No ear infection, very light congestion, and her throat is red...After Finally getting Addy to drink and urinate, 20 minutes later the Doc. confirms a U.T.I. urinary track infection... We got there at 11:30am and left a little after 2:30pm! I think I was just grateful to be there under a Doctors care until Addy's temperature went down! Talk about a little stressful. My good girlfriend Katie J. is going through the exact same thing with her little 18 month-er, Paisley, one of Addy's good girlfriends. Katie said I was in for a LONG 10 days...She was right...she doesn't take naps very well, she is up two to three times a night, she is a grouch gettin in to trouble most days, it took almost a week for her to poop again, poor thing, I know she is hurting inside, she is really struggling with Everything these days, she only wants me to hold her, freaks out a lot more than normal, and poor Art has been placed on Addy's back burner almost everyday...NOT FUN!

My Sweet in-laws came into town on Friday morning, and so naturally Addy CLUNG to my mother-in-law for the weekend! The first night they stayed here Addy woke up at like 1:30 and had a HORRIBLE time, Art started to do a breathing treatment with her SCREAMING until I came in and started to sing in her ear while she watched Barney still trying to push my arm away, Poor Art was beside himself, I felt bad because the dang walls are thin and my poor in-laws, to say the least, didn't sleep to well that night either! We all stayed around here most of Saturday and just relaxed with our in-laws reading & talking, we had an incredible steak dinner, watched a good movie, stayied up late talking. It was a wonderful day! Sunday morning, after yet another couple of wake-ups from Addy, & TWO dirty diapers later, I slept in and didn't get to say good bye to my in-laws! Thank you Peggy and Rick for coming up and spending time with us, it was a nice little treat for us, we truly enjoyed your company, your gifts, and help! Art told me that our sweet little Addy started crying once she realized her grandparents were leaving, and kept it up fora little while after wards, she sure loves both sets of her wonderful grandparents! Awe if only we weren't this far apart! One day right! Who knows! We really didn't want to venture into nursery just yet, I would really just like Addy to get through all of this crap, so She and Art, who is also under the weather as well, stayed home from church!

--On a lighter note Art is starting a different rotation with a private internal medicine doctor on Tuesday, Addy is hopefully through the worst of it all, and I am "happily" being tested for all the allergy and sinus crap I have been enduring since we moved here...Hopefully this will help clear up the chronic sinusitis, and constant sinus infections I have had FOREVER! WOO HOO!

Thank you to all the invites to the Super Bowl parties, we are sorry about not being able to make it to your Parties Katie, and Jamie, I am positive you had a great turn out with lots of fun and we are very sorry we couldn't make it to either...Art was not feeling to great today, and due to the eventful circumstances of the day & week, we enjoyed a somewhat quiet night with our neighbors next door, watching a great game with a sad ending...Better Luck next time Cardinals, they did play a Fantastic game though! Thanks again for the dinner Kyleen!

I also wanted to say a big thank you, again, to you Katie J. for all of your support and phone calls this week, I am really going to miss you guys A TON... you are such an incredible friend and have been soo great to us all it is going to be soo sad when you move...Oh, and then for watching Addy while I got my first professional haircut for the first time since living here, and then after all of this, for the sweet invite to you party, sorry again for not making it to your party, I owe ya one Katie. I really hope and pray Paisley starts to feel a little better and starts sleeping in her own bed without all of the screaming, & artful designs." Hang in there! Please Plan on me taking Paisley this week...its time for your time out!

Thank you too, Katti H. it was great getting to know ya a little better Katti, you are such a sweet heart and I really like my hair cut, it has been long over due! Katti is another cute gal in my ward who has a little girl, Lidia, who is 3 or 4 days older than Addy, & is super cute & sweet!

Sorry for the saga, I guess, life just keeps getting better...

Amazing blessings!!

I am so amazed these days when I look at my beautiful, smart, talented, sweet'n tender daughter, and my HOT, successful, intelligent, well rounded husband,( who both put up with my crap ) and wonder HOW IN THE WORLD AM I SO BLESSED! Every day is different, as a wife & mother, and after having my parents visit us, I am finally understanding what it is like to be a parent while trying to balance a healthy marriage with my wonderful Husband and incredible daughter...it isn't always easy, but when someone asks you what you do these days and ya can't really answer the question, ya start to wonder???? Does life get any better than this, when all you ever do is sit around and enjoy each other, at home, in your own "DOMAIN." Life is to short to waste it and Art and I realize our relationship needs nourishing by one on one time, but, I can truly say, I LOVE BEING able to stay home and cherish the short time I have with our ever growing little family! I love watching the new discoveries Addy finds or her vocabulary...which can be decieving when she is meaning to say one thing and it comes out like a swear word like the "A" word when she is just saying "class" I kind of have to blame myself if and when my sweet tender hearted little girl starts to say a bad word and must admit I am working on not saying "Bad Words."

But tonight is one of thise nights where Art is playing his --awesome--"live" 360 gears of war game with complete strangers, while I read or clean or blog! I think it is important to try and stay a little more positive these days! My husband is soo amazing, I have NEVER met anyone so talented as he is in EVERYTHING he does, gardening, computers, fixing things like cars facets, ect., or his INCREDIBLE gift and ability he has as a "Student Doctor" to research something when he is uncertain, or retain soo much knowledge, I swear he is like a vocabulary book of information, he is soo modest about his endevors, and struggles and rarely EVER complains, Except that is, if house hold chores like laundry and dishes are involved!!! No really though, I don't know how he does it some days and remains so dang calm and patient, he truly is AMAZING. SOOOO, What can we do when the outside world is falling down all around us with people we all know and love. Well, We all know the economy is terrible and not going to get better for a long time...but we can learn and do are best to weather the storm, or let it defeat us...yep I am guilty, what can I say I am a big worry wart...but I know that I am doing the best I can and I know that when I am making a conscious effort to notice the good things in each day or take time to color or paint with my gifted child, or flirt & cuddle with my sweet husband, Life just can't get any better!

I have been given amazing blessings from my Heavenly Father and I just don't thank him enough! I know that I have a temper ( thats for sure ), I know that I have an addiction to spending ( yep, Addiction ), I know I can have a mouth on me at times ( whoops ), BUT, I am striving to overcome each one with of couse the support and love of my patient husband and ever forgiving daughter. It is weird, I have never openly addmited to either one of these difficult habbits until recently, neither one is an easy thing to over come alone...I am always amazed when I open the Ensign or my scriptures on how much support and love my Father is showing me in the littlest ways. OR how the simple hugs, smiles, kind words, or affection truly help to turn my world into a better more fulfilling day! We all have our Vises, come on now I know I am not alone, but if we truly have a positive desire to overcome those struggles, each one of us faces, than anything is possible, and it will only better the relationships we have with our very supportive families and friends! After all what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger right!!!

I would truly be lost without the knowledge of the gospel and all that encompasses it! I am SOO In Love with my Hard Working Husband and Amazing Daughter, I thought it was about time I said it more openly to the world so they know, and I know, how blessed I truly am to be where I am today and to have both of them in my life!!!

Wonderful, Busy, Funny and then the Holidays are over....

It has been a while... but Wow it has been great while it lasted! Arthur started his next rotation with a bunch of his fellow class mates for Internal medicine at Valley Hospital...He said that he will have his own patients this time around which is pretty exciting! His brother and Sister in law just spent three days with us and we celebrated new years together...played some Wii games, did some light shopping, chatted and hung around taking it easy together it was nice and relaxing, Addy just LOVED having uncle "Ruvie," (Levi) and Aunt "Kat-tie," Kathy here she kept asking where they went and when the spare bedroom is open she starts to look for them! Thanks you guys for coming up and visiting us NO ONE has EVER stayed that long with us, pretty sad huh! NO it was wonderful having you two with us! Good luck with the Baby bump...Kathy and good luck on you up and coming test Levi. You two are going to make Fabulous Parents! Arthur got some clothes, tools, a hard drive, some video games, an x-box live card, food stoage, and money for Christmas!

Addy is saying more and more hilarious words...it is just so funny, my favorite are "Ah-man, and Ah-most" she is getting in trouble more these days, the smart little skunk just dances away smiling now, when she is asked to clean up her toys... which usually gets her in time out and spankings with Daddy...I just wish she would obey. We have are good and bad days! During and after Christmas she would get excited to go anywhere and kept saying "San-ta" with her arms in the air in hopes to get another picture with him! She really gets how to open gifts up too now, she thoughtfully opened two packages that where being sent down to AZ...bless her little heart she just wants more Christmas time...Addy got some doll furniture, ( wooden cradle, high chair, girafe chair and a washer dryer) a magnetic fishing set, a magnetic doll set, a pretty x-mas dress, some clothes and dolls, a doctor bag, books, p.j.s, etc.

I have been cleaning, baking, doing hair, and enjoying my time with my family...I have been a little bumbled because it is official...EVERY CLOSE GIRL FRIEND I HAVE both family and friend is pregnant...Congrats again to all of you, I just wish I were there with you...that and pregnant, it is okay I just keep enjoying my time with Art and Addy and leave it in his giving hands...I also thought is was time for a nice easy change so I colored my hair all to one color and I really like it! I got a Circut machine, some clothes, food storage, money, crafts, socks etc. It was a wonderful and exciting year...We stayed in Henderson for x-mas and had some of our friends over x-mas eve and new years it was Actually SOO Wonderful and personal I loved it, we opened gifts around our tree no one was sick and we even got a wonderful day in the snow...we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful Holiday season! We as always miss everyone and hope and pray you are healthy and well... take care! Pictures coming soon!

Yep I changed my hair color, and I love it!
My hair is down to the middle of my back andI love having long
hair! It is somewhat closer to my natural hair color so it is a little less
maintenance!

Snow, oh my gosh I never get to see snow at Christmas time, and I just can't stop looking at it, Snow just makes Christmas time so much more realistic...I LOVE IT! It is SOO beautiful AND it is supposed to snow for at least another day with about 8 inches total maybe more by the end of tomorrow...YEAH YEAH YEAH, I feel like a little girl again...in Utah at my grandmas house, oh wait, it is snowing where I live this year...I still can't believe it myself!! I guess Heavenly Father said I could have snow since I don't get to go home to Arizona for Christmas! I will post some pictures of it soon, poor Addy if pretty sick with some sort of stomache virus... Hopefully she will be well next week in time for Christmas...

Merry Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Well it is official we will be in Henderson this Christmas... We will miss seeing everyone but Arthur has a weird work schedule and traveling back and forth may be a bit much... I have been planning a couple of things to enjoy Christmas this year with just the three of us! I am planning on doing the Twelve Days Before Christmas, where each day we do something different together, either stringing popcorn, reading x-mas stories, etc. and of course the goodies making, although I am trying a couple of new things this year, I am excited! I have most of my Christmas done now it is the wrapping and fine tuning... That and figuring out how this is going to travel down to you all! Maybe Santa will hear my prayers!

Addy is soo funny these days, it is truly funny what she remembers:
-Arthur throwing the ball to her..
-Addy just missing the ball says--- almos almos (almost)
--I have just realized my wedding ring isn't on my finger and am PANICKING or FREAKING OUT in ward, trying to appear calm...
-Mommy wha happen, wa happen
I am soo grateful for Arthur, his calm and funny ways have a way of always making me laugh, and when I was in a state of tears and panic over the ring, he sent me a text that told me that I was more important than anything he owned, that ment so much to me...I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful & loving husband and incredible, beautiful daughter... Addy is so sensitive to all that is around her and is such a little sweet heart, and yes the big eyes definitely melt your soul when she gets hurt...She is a very precious jewel to Arthur and I!!! I love my family so much between my fabulous husband, incredible daughter, loving sibling, cousins, nieces & nephews, & caring/giving inlaws, life just can't get any better, and then our great father gives us amazing friends!Thank you to all for being a part of our wonderful life!

If only we could have two months of Christmas a month to plan, shop, & wrap and then another month to listen to x-mas music, enjoy the feelings & love of others, goody making, & of course the spirit and joy of being around those we love & cherish, Remembering Christ through out it all...

Don't worry, the ring was found! Thanks to some prayers and faith! Pictures will be up soon but until then...

We truly hope you All Have a wonderful holiday season, and a Very Merry Christmas!
We Love you all and will miss you at the various parties and dinners! Be safe and take care!
