A little Updating!

Wow this year just seems to have flown by, which is great, I am trying to cherish all the time I can with my family, which could be a good or bad thing when it comes to the whole residency program. I don't want to prepare, well that and I don't know how to train myself, nor do I want to, for the amount of time Art will be away from us, I keep hearing I am going to be a single mother and all, during this time frame which, just scares the crap out of me if I am not going to live or be closer to family and all! Soo ther is my worry and now here is my update!

Art is very busy with his rotation this month which is common for OBGYN and pretty much comes home exhausted every night. I do about two to three individuals hair a week, which isn't a ton but keeps me happy and busy along with the daily cleaning and different projects I start and never seem to finish! Addy is getting more and more independent and is no longer our little baby, she is just so beautiful and tall, I just don't know when it all happened, and right now all of us are suffering SEVER allergy problems due to the ash in the air from the moisture the snow left...but other than that life just flies by!

We don't always get the regular days or breaks off because every month he ends and starts a completely different rotation, or Doctor, meaning he assists, without pay, a different Dr. each month in all different areas of medicine next month is Pediatrics. Only one more year before he graduates and then we are off to another state for his residency program, he is looking at two different programs of which he wants to go into of which he hasn't done a rotation yet for either one of them, so it is still not 100% right now, I just can't wait to know where we will be in just one more year! The sky is the limit and who knows what is in store for us next!

Life in a mother's pondering day!!!

Where and When does the time go to some days??? My younger brother (John) and his two gals (Wife Kaeli, Daughter Lottie) came to visit us for the first time EVER on Wed. night...it was really nice having family in town and to see Addy with her only cousin that is really close in age to her, (5 months younger) play and run and laugh and scream and hug and miss each other...my little niece is soo cute and can be soo adorably sweet...and then she gets mad and the world wants her to calm down and be happy little Lottie again...it was so fascinating watching the two of them interact together...it was bitter sweet, John and Kaeli have their arms full and with another little cutie pie on the way, life only gets more exciting Even with Lottie's ups and downs that little girl just wants to be heard and admired, and she is. Lottie is soo easy to love and her sweet little smile, is probably how she manages to get everyone's attention! It really made me appreciate every one of my nieces and nephews for who they are individually, each one sweet and crazy, lovable and funny, caring and angry all rolled into ONE INCREDIBLE LITTLE SPIRIT, I could never see our family live without!!! I really can say I miss my family, all of my family these days....there have been a ton of personal struggles in my life and sometimes when you need family the most and they are 400 miles away, you start to appreciate every little thing both good and bad, that your family contributes to who you are this day...

It really was soo very wonderful to have my brother and his family come to visit...it made me appreciate the little things, even though my brother and I don't always see eye to eye on a ton of things, and this is the brother whom I always struggle with...I have to admit I was really happy to see him...I know it was just a couple of months ago when I got to see my parents and in -laws, but, NONE of my siblings have ever come to visit me and I truly LOVED every minute I had with them...My heart seems pretty full these days, and Simplifying seems like a wonderful thing to do most of the time, if I ever get a minute. Life just seems like it is ALWAYS in the fast lane and you don't ever get to slow down and enjoy the wonderful brief moments with one another until you take the initiative and actually sit down and go through the craziness each day holds, sort out the mess, and then finally realize that, all that truly matters at the end of each day is my wonderful husband, incredible daughter, family, friends, and of course our ever caring Heavenly Father and Savior.

I guess this post is to remind myself that I must learn to appreciate the little things, enjoy life's beauties, and to sit down and CHERISH what little time I have with my husband and daughter...I know I don't say it enough and sometimes pray that Arthur knows just how lucky I feel to have him in my life in every way, he is an incredible father, a giving friend, a talented and intelligent, well rounded YOUNG man, and the best friend, lover, and husband I could ever ask of from my heavenly father, I don't make life easy at times, but, I and the lucky one, because at the end of each day Art chose me to be with and no one else...remember that ladies the next time you look at your husbands and tell them just that, cause they need to hear it just as much as we do, and my sweet husband does just that...THANK YOU ARTHUR ONCE AGAIN FOR BEING SO AMAZING...I TRULY LOVE AND AM IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
