Dang-it, no pictures, but some updates for ya!

So I am kind of bummed, I have been wanting to update ya with pictures but our computer isn't cooperating. For some reason when we go to upload the pics the option to do so isn't popping up, sooo I haven't been able to update, and man is there a ton! SOOO as soon as Art figures it out I will be sure to post then!

I got the call back from the specialist who said that Addy's Sentamentation/Sedimentation, not sure on the spelling, level was at 84% which is really high, he said that this is a type of inflamation and that her c-reactive proteins we at 1.5%... He said that we should keep an eye on the inflamation and have that checked every so often, but that everything came back negative and clear. He wants to have her get an ultra sound and swallow some dye that will help show us what is going on inside her. We get to go through that nice ordeal on Tuesday, he said that they will either an i.v. if she won't drink the solution, that and she can't have any food or drink for four hours prior to the procedure! Yah I am a little nervous, but the great news is, is that after this wonderful event we will be jumping in the car to come down to Arizona for a few days! YEAH, Art doesn't have to start his other rotation until the following Monday. SOO hopefully we will get to visit with a couple of friends this trip! We want to head over to Sunsplash, if it is open! and up to my cabin for a day or two! But we will have at least 3 if not 4 days to see family and friends! See ya soon!

SO we got the old couches moved out and the new ones in place, thanks to our great friends The Nichols help and truck! they were a huge help and we treated then to a nice steak and corn dinner! Can I just say how ENORMOUS these new couches are, to say the least our place is all couch now! BUT we LOVE THEM and are ecstatic to have them. In fact the Nichols ended up taking the sofa for there place, so both parties got couches and help!

Art has been home a lot this month, which has been nice, so when we are not reading or watching movies, we are at the pool, park, playdates and having fun with close friends when we get together for dinner, dessert and movie nights...We went on a nice walk as a family today and then went swimming! It rained a little last night so there was a very nice cool breeze. Ahhh if only it could stay like this all summer...too bad we are heading into the CRAPPY HEAT!

Yeah, Whoo hoo!

So after a couple of days of searching, we purchased our first set of couches, Our old ones were given to us by a wonderful cousin of mine, but to say the least they have been through the ringer and then some...Art surprised me one day this last week by swinging by a furniture store to start looking, and after some HORRIBLE outings with our crazy little nut Addy, we got a friend to watch her tonight while we went shopping again! Don't ask me HOW the heck we are going to move this enormous set of couches in a year. They are a medium brown, clothe sectional that has two sofas. We get them tomorrow and I still haven't figured out how to get the old couches out of here, wish me luck right -1st on moving the old ones out and 2nd fitting the new ones in somehow! Yeah I am excited!

OUCH, OH MY, OUCH!!!!!!

So Sundays are ALWAYS a tough day with Addy because most of the time she doesn't get a nap or is really grumpy and moody...Today was beyond that, she even got a couple of span-kins at church today, we were siting on the back pew and she climbed under the pew and then when she realized we couldn't reach her she walked right out the doors, by the time I got to her she was half way around the other side of the church, anyways she was already having a HORRIBLE day to say the least, anyways Art ended up taking her home to try and get a short nap out of her, and she fell asleep almost immediately. Well since she is totally off her schedule and going to be at like 11pm mom has been getting Addy up around 5-5:30. Today she DID NOT want anything to do with me getting her up she would even sit up and push me away from her crib. She cried when we took her diaper off, and she cried when mom tried to "help" get her a piece of peach pie, in fact she got so TICKED off at mom she attempted to have a temper tantrum when all of a sudden she is laying next to me on the ground crying, please excuse the graffic's, with our little collapsible pop up stools slightly closed on her inner thigh AND..........just guess, yep that's right and mind you she isn't wearing her diaper or panties, so the stool pinched the crap out of her before we could free her from the contraption. Poor little thing and she has still had a couple of other falls and bangs today. It just has not been her day today.

Four years Married, Eight Years Together!

Happy Anniversary Arthur Life may have its ups and downs but I know that I am more complete, and happy knowing, that I am honored to be your wife, lucky enough to have caught and kept you for four years before we even married and excited that our love doesn't just end here on earth, but will continue on into the eternities because we fell in love!

It was cute, Art wanted to watch "24" last night at 11:30pm and well I didn't want to cause of all the LATE and TOUGH nights I have been having with Addy but I guess I am a sucker. It was good, but I was mad at myself for not going to bed afterwards. As I am going up the stairs Art calls me to stop and tells me not to be mad, he just wanted to be the first one to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! It seems sir-real at times facing all that we have together...But through it all I know that our love is eternal and that together we can make it through anything, because we have each other...I Love you so very much and am so grateful you are in my life. Thank you for all you do and for being so amazing!

P.S. Unfortunately we do not have any great updates on Addy, we had a chest ex-ray done on her abdomen yesterday but are still waiting on her reading and result to proceed to the next step which is seeing a gastroenterologist...she seems to do pretty well during the day but then night comes and her temperature is 103 and she is crying and in a lot of pain usually from 2am on...thank you for your support and prayer we are still not in the clear nor do we have any answers yet so please continue to keep us in your prayers! I'll keep ya posted!

what a week.......

So last Thursday Addy was complaining that her tummy was hurting, no big deal right...she doesn't eat a ton and well she doesn't go #2 all that much either...Friday roles around same thing tummy hurts, but that night she starts throwing up and soo we have Zofran on stock because once she gets started it doesn't stop until she is throwing up spit...you get the point. Saturday roles around and she all of a sudden is really congested and has a mild fever, no more vomiting thank goodness, she is still complaining about her tummy through all of this...I just haven't had a great feeling the whole time this is going on, that and I am a huge worry wort, soo Sun. and Mon. role around, she isn't sleeping or eating and Art has given her a blessing and things aren't getting any better. So Monday night Art takes Addy to Urgent care and all they say is upper respiratory infection, no big deal right...Tuesday morning I take Addy into her Doctor and she says to stop worrying, have another child, because this one is getting a little too spoiled and tells me the same thing Upper respiratory infection, and allergies, so we have been doing breathing treatments, giving Addy Zantec for her reflex, and Zertec for her allergies, she seemed like she was doing a little better but still had tummy aches, isn't eating much or sleeping much, Friday roles around again, I go into check on her because she was in pain and she WILL NOT get out of bed, she is really hot and I am worried sick. Luckily Art got home and we took her temp. 103.9 called her doctor and drove to the Emergency room at about 11. My poor baby was so sick she passed out in my arms, SHE NEVER FALLS ASLEEP IN MY ARMS, EVER. Art gives her another blessing and 30min. later we are finally seen, we did get a dose of Tylenol down her 3min. before being seen. The nurse takes her temp, rectally, and its 104, she gives her a dose of Motrin at that point. One chest ex-ray, one urine sample, one mini catheter, a lot of T.V. a Popsicle and she checks out with the flu. She still had a temperature of 102.5 when we left, which is still the case only now her tummy pains seem to have gotten worse. That night Art runs to the store and picks up some suppositories to try and help Addy go poop, so at 1:45am in the morning I hold Addy down and Art injects a suppository into her rectally, her tummy still hurts and we have been injecting suppositories up her butt today to try and flush her out. It seems when she eats now her tummy starts to hurt really bad, if she isn't better by Monday it will be back to the emergency room yet again.

I am a bit of a basket case right now inside, I feel so helpless and sad when ever she tells me or cries that her tummy is hurting, I guess I am posting this to ask for some prayers this weekend, I am really worried about Addy and what the hospital may do if Addy's tummy situation and fever don't get better. Please have us in your prayers we need them right now...Thanks for listening! I guess I just need a little support through this crappy ordeal!
