Happy Halloween to all my family and friends!!! Here come the holidays....

While I was playing "hookey" from the world being sick and all, I missed My very beautiful and sweet niece's Birthday, Miss Lauryn on the far right, and didn't want her to think I had forgotten her, or her special day, Yes it may be VERY late, But I just wanted this sweet niece of mine to know how much I love her, miss her and wish I were there in person to give her a big hug and take her on a date to Thrifty's on the corner of McKellips and Gilbert for some Yummy ice cream! AND ON THAT note I am going to get ahead and wish my handsome nephew, Mr. Dylan, on the far left an Early Happy Birthday since his falls on Halloween and all! Plus My sweet mothers is the day after on the 1st of November...SOO here is my song to you THREE special BUT VERY LOVED INDIVIDUALS of whom I miss dearly on a daily basis...Happy Birthday day to you, Happy Birthday to you la la la, Happy B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y Dear Lauryn , Dylan, and Wendy, Happy Happy Birthday toooooo youuuuuuu! I love you tons!!!
Since family is not around the corner, and well since I have been soo very sick I finally got up the gumption to take a few photos of my "Fall" decor I have set up and for warn that well due to being ill I did not have the strength to set up Halloween this year, and am kind of bummed...BUT such is life... I am just trying to get well enough so I can finally go get my dang flu shot...

I have missed what feels like tons since falling ill and it REALLY stinks, there were two fun parties yesterday and today I REALLY wanted to attend but, my "lungs" and fatigue said other wise... SOOO we were working on trying to get a costume on, that and keeping it on, with this little man, which well he was not in such a cooperating mood tonight, BUT daddy helped by shotting this gun and then teaching him how to ask for the "goodies"!!
We stood both kiddos at our bedroom door and had Addy show him what to do, you can understand "reeet ease"' and once in a while you could tell her was going for the trick or treat part...it was pretty cute! Oh and Addy has changed her mind on her costume as well soo today she is Snow White, She was Cinderella for her Pre School Costume Party and Monday...I guess we just wait and see!!

A good friend of mine, Thanks Again Marji, Let me borrow this cute costume, we sat him in front of the mirror one night and squeaked its ears, of which a giggled and laughed, BUT he would NOT put it on tonight AT ALL...
But at least we caught him in it while it lasted, so who knows he may be something different come Monday, BUT I love both of these so we shall see!!!

My mom and dad sent some money and I was finally able to let her pick out the "toy" she wanted for a belated birthday gift, Thank you grandma and grandpa McGhan it doesn't talk BUT she loves it and plays with it DAILY!!

In a rush to get out the door, I grabbed the camera and took a quick shot!!!Grandpa and Grandma Hatch came to town, and boy were we happy to have them! They stayed for a week and it was such a blessing to us all, they kids got tons of attention while I was laid up and Addy even got to go fishing ALL day, lucky girl! Rohnin and I laid low and let them go out and play! Art had his week of vacation and well I am just grateful they where all her to help ME out when I was at my sickest! Thank You again to Art Peggy, and Rick for keeping a handle on things while spending oodles of time with our kiddos!

Rick this was the BEST picture I am so bummed it came out blurry...

I L-O-V-E all the faces in this one, still chuckling...

Grandma and Grandpa Hatch took Addy shopping for a belated Birthday gift and she picked out some VERY CUTE 'Sparkly' boots, I love them, they are too cute!

I had completely forgot about another portion way back on the 1st of October, It was a very busy day for us, and 2 hours after Addy's party got over we had to drive out to Maumelle for an annual work party for Art's PM& R colleagues! It was great and I got some great pictures!! It was such a beautiful day and with great food and friends around it made for a great ending to a crazy day!!!

Time to Confess and Rest...

Soo I have been sick since the end of September with what felt like just about EVERYTHING and couldn't seem too get rid of this dang fever...I had seen my doctor several different times in hopes of a quick recovery, had 3 different blessings of which reminded me I needed to rest BUT then when I started wheezing over this past weekend I realized I may be in trouble, I asked Art to listen to my lungs and he said my lungs did not sound good...On Monday I paid yet another visit to my doctor to confirm what Art found...Yep pneumonia...and my lungs were in very bad shape, but since I am pregnant they could not do a chest x-ray to see how bad they were...it has been scary on a number of levels each day praying my lungs cleared up, praying the baby be safe and protected, daily doctor visits, daily shots, nebulizer treatments, and lots of sleep, rest and cough medicine...My doctor started making preparations on Tuesday to commit me to the hospital in fear of how bad I was getting, and that my friends is when I needed a little extra help in the prayer department, and turned to several of you for some extra prayers... which I am sooo happy to report helped in countless ways, I am a long way from being back to myself again BUT what a sweet reminder of how asking others for prayers and help truly can be a wonderful blessing and miracle... ...I am grateful to my hubby for convincing my doctor not to commit me on Tues. to the hospital, but monitored me from home, and being my own personal nurse and doctor from my own bed, although I dislike the breathing treatments I am grateful we had a nebulizer, of our own, which has helped my lungs amazingly...My doctor was happy to report Wednesday that I had turned a small page in my recovery and I know that this would not have been possible had it not been for my amazing hubby, prayers from my friends and my wonderful in-laws...I am soo grateful for my in-laws who have been in town for Art's vacation this week, who have watched and cared for my children when I could not...Today was the first day I did not have to get a very painful shot, or go see my doctor and I AM GRATEFUL...I guess it will be a long time before I feel like myself again BUT am grateful for modern meds that have helped me slowly mend from this debilitating illness...It is a day to day process with pneumonia, and have to be soo very careful to not over do it...I go see my ob doctor next week to check on my sweet little pearl, who has hopefully and prayerfully not been affected by the meds and turmoil my body has been under this week...

I am also so grateful to the sweet friends and sisters in our ward here who have sent texts and called checking on me, for the meals, the prayers, and love I have felt from each of you, thank you...it truly has been a blessing and a gift, in this week of fear and uncertainty! I am grateful to a loving Heavenly Father for his reminders of how, even though it is not always the right timing for family visits, sickness wise,...The visits are a miracle of service and love, patience and kindness to the fullest degree!!! My in-laws have to go home tomorrow and I have shed tears several time today just thinking about that...I missed my own mother a great deal this week, BUT was blessed with a very loving mother in law who cared and watched after my children, as if they were her own this week! It has been crazy, but I am soo very grateful for the little and big blessings I have seen and been blessed with personally this week!! I also have a new appreciation for my lungs and breathing since it has been under attack... this long week AND for my children of whom I could not care for, Addy had to come in to say sorry for eating my pie and I was, oddly, grateful she did and asked if she enjoyed it! For their smiles and laughter their tears and hugs, when you can't play mom well I am just soo grateful they were in the care of their ever loving grandparents! Addy started crying tonight not wanting them to go, and I couldn't help but start crying in the prayer I was saying in trying to help us all be strong in letting them go back to their own home tomorrow...THEY WILL BE MISSED TERRIBLY BY US ALL....

Well I have been putting off the second part of my breathing treatment, and have run out of thing to say soooooo I guess I have to finish what I started, we love and miss you all back home in Arizona and in Vegas and do me a favor, since realizing the power and blessing of prayers PLEASE PRAY THAT MY BODY WILL MEND A LITTLE FASTER...I am ready to be well again BUT may need a little assistance in the coming weeks!! Thank you again for the love and support! I will have pictures to post next time!!!

Work and Progress....and other things!!!

I decided to give my fall wreath a face lift, with some some colors!
I love how it all turned out and of course had to show ya where my roses sit!!

The other day Addy was apparently in a crafty mood and made this nifty yet tall crown!!! I was pretty impressed!
This little man LOVES trains!!! So we built a train track that an hour later he had taken apart!
Afew months back I needed some "carrots" for a stew, They were punny and tiny and had no taste, soo Art thinned out the carrots and left the remainder carrots in the ground and boy did they grow! That and they had some great taste as well this time around!!! Addy was SOOO excited!!!
AND she even ate one with the peeling on! lol!

Addy has sooo many papers from school and teaching her to throw things away can be a big difficult...SOOO another one of my friends did this on her blog and I thought it was a great idea! Took one big picture Because I I want to save some things as well others, like normal paper and such not so much! So now you get to peek at some her her work she brings home!! Its a win win!!So I wanted a cute plater to use at Addy's Birthday party, and I LOVED how this one turned out! I made a few others but well this is my favorite!

A park day! SOOO Pretty!
Some more of Addy's work!
I LOVE IT when my two laugh and giggle together and best of all Play together, music to my ears!!

This is what is left of what WAS hanging in our house, dated, old and well there were several events around the corner that gave us an excuse to replace them with these beauties!!!
My amazing hubby not only disassembled all of the old fixtures but had ALL of the new ones up and reassemble the same night...I was pretty impressed!!!
We also had a wonderful friend of our paint Addy's room! We still need to put the chair rail up BUT I really love how it turned out!!

A little fun!! I found these cute little girl shoes and Rohnin loves shoes of course SOO we put them on him and watched him laugh, have fun and then realize he no longer wanted to wear these cute little shoes...

Soooo this week Art gave me some bad news concerning my little rose beauties...I guess out here because of all the rain and humidity there are alot of diseases in plants and gardens, and the previous day Art had noticed that some of my roses had some black spots on them...Well upon speaking with some fellow doctors at work, that raise roses and have "rose gardens" said that unfortunately one spot turns to more until my beauties are dead...It is called the black spot disease and I was sooo bummed to find this out...They said they have raised roses here for years and tried many many anti-disease formulas out there, but eventually there fate never changes...SO I guess I only get to enjoy these little beauties for a time until I replant and start all over again...
So enjoy them while we can, we have! Addy LOVES it when I cut one off and tell her it is just for her or better yet let her choose "her rose"... I have been under the weather and My sweet hubby picked up some red roses that were beautiful but TRULY had no comparison to ours, the red ones never opened and their scent was definitely NOT as fragrant as ours...Can you tell what my favorite flower is???
My little diva...Got all upset the other morning when her daddy made her where jeans to school, of all things....On the way home she had something to say about it as well, She feels she HAS to wear a skirt with an and all shorts, pants etc.
