I Got a Date Night... I got a date night...Why am I so Happy??? BECAUSE..... I got to go to Crystal/Magic Springs with My HOT Hubby ---AND---WAIT for it---- WITH OUT my Adorable kiddos...YEAH... and let me JUST say WE HAD A BLAST! I Can NOT remember the last time I have done something so fun and for most of the day "childless" Can't ya tell its been a while. We never able to go on the "Adult/over 48in. rides" because we were always, obviously in the kiddy areas (NOT that WE are complaining). We love seeing how excited our kids get every time we leave to drive out there, and then how fast they pass out once seated for the drive home! It is
ALWAYS FUN! BUT It has been sooooooooooooo long since we have done something other than a movie night, or for that matter anything like this, for years! We got to go with some great friends of ours Dave and Kara Eastham and between the laughing, jokes, water fight, water fun, screaming & Arts "interesting/silly" comments AND HIS screaming,
WE had an Amazingly FUN FILLED Date!
Our kids had a blast with one of their FAVORITE sitters Becca H. and we were sooo happy to see both of our beautiful children laughing when we walked in the doors! I would have taken some pictures and really did want to take my new AWESOME camera to the park, BUT a lot of things have gone missing recently and I DID NOT want to have Anything happen to it!
SOO............... Rohnin LOVES to help, and is quite the helper when he is in a good mood! He more than willingly throws things away, shirts, dust pans, trash, YEP he will just about throw away anything...LITERALLY...NOW....... I am NOT going to Blame him for throwing my camera away... BECAUSE there is no proof........... BUT after the last week that I have had with 'Items' missing I am STARTING to wonder...SOO currently we have not seen 2 library books, 1 floor cover (for an electrical socket), 1 universal T.V. remote, a dust pan ......UMMM I am going to stop there...You get the idea...SUCH AN ENTHUSIASTIC HELPER!!! NOW... why do I --presume-- he might have thrown these items away. I have caught him throwing clothing, hand towels, and a dust pan in to the garbage, (I didn't see him throw the dust pan away BUT I found it--the first time that is.) It really does stink though, that these items have disappeared along with many other items, sadly...Ohh he means well, of course, BUT he just doesn't quite understand what we do and don't throw away....I am sooo nervous though, now, that little hands might have been involved in the disappearance of these items, and to be honest I kind of feel like I am loosing my mind, I have Honestly looked EVERY WHERE for these items, BUT NOTHING has turned up...SOOO sadly we might be dumpster diving into our very own trash to -HOPEFULLY- find some of these missing items, It may be too late for some since the trash was taken on Wed. BUT I am hoping we will find the remote at least...soo wish us luck!!!
Next, I could not leave out Addy in all of this...We have been struggling, well forever struggling, with Addy and sleep SOOO we FINALLY moved her bed into Rohnin's room on Tues. the 9th we were ALL anxious & excited to see how it went....UNTIL Addy ended up sleeping in our bed... due to Rohnin's excited laughing, screaming, crying, throwing items out of bed, etc. easily waking her up several times. The next night was GREAT, they both stayed in bed and no screaming...Last night not so good, I was working on a friends hair color, Art had a bad headache BUT we managed to get the kids into bed while my friends color was processing, shortly after I begin to hear Rohnin screaming, rather loud and obnoxiously, I could not have put up with "trying" to even attempt to sleep with that, let alone function, and sure enough... I hear him giggle and then start screaming even louder...YEP you guessed it, he is teasing his sister with his screams, enough to make her start crying, it was so sad... so we let Addy sleep in our bed once again. Tonight, I think, would have gone smoother, were it not for the LOUD and SCARY, thunder and rain, BUT at least there was no screaming ---yeah---, soo hopefully this every other night thing goes away all together, but poor Addy was sooo excited to be able to sleep in the same room as her brother that NONE of us anticipated Rohnin being the giggle monster, loud & screaming tease, who throw things out of his crib to get sisters attention,---- SKUNK----WE should have, I suppose, considered this though since his teasing & trouble making skills are WAY to good for an 18 month old, but hey, come on, he IS only 18 months...BOY it REALLY is a good thing he knows how to melt our hearts and make us laugh.....AND I will Just leave it at that!
Funny things the kiddos have said:
Addy " Dad don't take toys away from little kids it is NOT nice" after Art took his cell phone away from her, she has said this comment several times...
Addy " Dad I'm not hungry I already ate lunch ( referring to when Arthur says it is time to eat dinner) same evening as she is getting settle into her bed, "mom my tummy hurts, I think its hungry" this happens alot!
Addy "mom can I have a popsicle pleaaassssssseeeeeeeeeeee, I only had one " I hear this DAILY!!!
Rohnin shouting " MOMMA MOM MOM MOM MOM" you get the idea when he is referring to "DAD" and yes I get the dadda reversed as well!
Rohnin "shrrrd" (share)touching his tummy, hot (pretty much anything hurting him), "sausa" (sorry) touching his tummy, "fizzzz" (please)" touching his tummy, we started doing baby sign with him but he and maybe we got lazy so now any time he wants something he tells the person any one of the Shrrd, Sausa, OR Fizzz while tapping his tummy ( its pretty cute.) We do make him give us a kiss anytime he is naughty and saying sausa...mostly for our kissing benefits!
Boy are we lucky though, these two truly make our lives a little more complete and funny! We sure do love life in our little Hatch home!
