Arthur was the only one missing in the photo below because he had to be back in Arkansas for work, BUT we truly ALL missed him every day we didn't get to see or be near him...me and our kiddos were pretty much, well, literally "sick" with out you l-o-v-e!
Next is to my Talented Father whom just happens to share his Birthday this particular "Father's Day!" SO I/WE hope and Pray you have an amazing...relaxing...stress free...BEAUTIFUL day way back there is Arizona! I/WE hope you have a Magnificent Fathers Day and We of course will be trying to call you and skype you on your VERY SPECIAL Day! I/WE truly wish we where there to celebrate your Birthday, BUT, Please just know how grateful I am and was during our trip to Utah and all the little things you did for me and the kids when we were all so very sick...Addy is really missing the fishing right now and Just said yesterday how she REALLY wishes she could go see all her family and cousins in Arizona...it was so sweet and sad because I feel the same way! Only a Dad
by Edgar A. Guest
Only a dad with a tired face,
Coming home from the daily race,
Bringing little of gold or fame
To show how well he has played the game;
But glad in his heart that his own rejoice
To see him come and to hear his voice.
Only a dad with a brood of four,
One of ten million men or more
Plodding along in the daily strife,
Bearing the whips and the scorns of life,
With never a whimper of pain or hate,
For the sake of those who at home await.
Only a dad, neither rich nor proud,
Merely one of the surging crowd,
Toiling, striving from day to day,
Facing whatever may come his way,
Silent whenever the harsh condemn,
And bearing it all for the love of them.
Only a dad but he gives his all,
To smooth the way for his children small,
Doing with courage stern and grim
The deeds that his father did for him.
This is the line that for him I pen:
Only a dad, but the best of men.
