October Happenings...that kept us ALL busy!

So Rohnin finally had his special day at Mary's Pumpkin patch in Bryant! We pulled up and immediately got on the hay ride through their fun little autumn tour! Abram had a blast trying to get away!

After the hay ride came the train ride!
 Then snack and pictures!
Then he got to pick out his very own pumpkin and then help pic one out for Addison!
All while Abram got comfy in the stroller...yep he is quick and fast these days...so it is called "safe containment"
They had awesome bikes for the little ones to ride on this year!

I had lots of fun taking darling pictures of him in everything he did!

Rohnin really wanted to include Abram in Everything it was sweet!

This was a HUGE deal... he has been terrified of the big blow up bounce houses that he had NEVER gone in them UNTIL today...YAY! Most of everyone had left and he finally stepped up and bounced! He LOVED it...
...so did Abram! Preschool has really brought out so many wonderful new things for him! It has been so fun watching him grow and learn this year!

His soccer games were pretty fun to watch!
He always kept us laughing over some funny face or action he would do on the field!
Arthur started bribing them with ice cream to motivate them to go after the ball and kick it more... yep it did help some what!
He came out of our room one day with daddy's monster boots on... he looked pretty cute holding up the laces to walk around in them!
We celebrated Addison's 7th Birthday... and of course I had to decorate the night before!

She loves her teacher and school and just informed me that she LOVES playing kick ball! Oh and yes she still plans on being a Fairy Princess when she grows up!
Yep please meet my little eater! Love this little guy so much...
We went and picked up lunch for Addison on her Birthday and then had a late night with Adabelle and Kate ( two friends from church.) They had a blast and I am pretty sure she had a great Birthday!

Soccer pictures!! Such a sweet little cutie pie!

 One of his many faces!
It seemed like there were a ton of picture days in October...mainly for Addison...lol! But I was so excited to get a soccer photo back for Rohnin Yay! We also had our family picture taken as well! October really was a crazy busy month!
I even put mascara on to show off her gorgeous eyes for her picture day at school!
We went to Tyndall park to practice soccer and play, Kaity got to tag along for the ride that day!

Art went out to start a fire one day and forgot to look up to check for clouds...5 minutes later it started to rain...
I was determined to roast some hot dogs... cause the kiddos were so bummed and well Abram did was NOT ready to go back in...so we both got a little wet!
Don't mind my back side...I was just trying to roast the darn hot dogs...sort of worked...lol!
A couple days later...a very happy, successful night of roasting hot dogs and marshmallows! thankfully with out the rain!

We just LOVE using the fire pit!

We had some old friends "The Buck" family call Art and invite us out for a pumpkin carving party, it was so great to see them and catch up and enjoy good food and company! Art helped care the pumpkins...Rohnin was a little afraid of his...lol... "cyclopes and a witch" silly daddy!

Then it was Halloween! Abram was an E-walk and Addy was a Glitter Witch and Rohnin a Pirate! I was in charge of his Preschool party! it was super fun and I finally got to use a few of the games I made when I helped out with Addy's parties a few years back!

We got to go around with them trick or treating around the building, due to the rain outside... then we headed back to the class room were we ate read a Clifford Halloween book and played a few games...I think they had a great day!

I loved watching all the kiddos put these teeth in...it was pretty cute!

September Happenings!

SO I love it when my kids reach new skills! As a consequence for eating in the family room, the kiddos now get to help vacuum up their spills! They actually like to use the vacuum attachments but sometimes more is needed! Addy is such a blessing and a big help to the many messes that are made around here, I am thankful for my little "willing" beauty for always being caring, loving and a helper!
Rohnin Officially started Preschool on the Sept. 3rd...I was having some serious anxiety as to how he was going to do, BUT he is doing SOOOO great...it truly has brought the best out of him...I LOVE his questions and enthusiasm when he figures things out, he LOVES Mrs. Mickee he can't say his N's, so cute! I need to video tape him saying my favorite words that he says... he LOVES learning and all the fun things he gets to do at Preschool!
So our little Abram...is a bit of a mess maker...okay he is the WORST right now...I am SOOO ready for this "Phase" to be over...every time I turn around he is undoing something I JUST picked up, or cleaned, I have rubber bands on ALL my cupboards, to try and keep him out...he can get to and climb up on EVERYTHING...and when I turn my back for two second he is usually dumping out water...toys...food...clothes...well you get the point... He loves getting up on our various stools to reach his hearts desire, and the table and dresser are the places he likes to "chill" out on top of!!! I came out from cleaning the kids bathroom mirror and he was on top of the kitchen table dumping out my salt and pepper shakers... if there is something on Addison's dresser, he climbs up, sits down and thinks he is a king because he is so high up... YEP can we just say I am kept on my toes most days!!!!
It is a good thing he has the cutest little laugh and giggle...and that he is sooo darn adorable...he is testing us all left and right these days and we are just trying to keep him out of harms way... I just love his little smile... he is SUCH a sweet and loving baby... such a gift and blessing to our home!!
Art was on rotations in Mesa a good chunk of September, so one night I ventured out to the Benton Fair... this was the picture I got right before the very first roller coaster ride Rohnin got on...yep it only made it around once and he and several other little ones wanted OFF...too funny...he was NOT a big fan of the rides...

He is our slow and steady...play it safe, which I am SOO very grateful for! He loved the very slow train ride!
Addy was finally tall enough to do a good majority of the rides, she rode the swing ride for the first time while the boys...
sat and watched, the noise was too loud for Rohnin this was how he looked for most of this trip...poor guy! Abram...is always eating...I love having an eater!!!
He LOVED riding these next two rides...Addy is such a sweet security for this little guy...He adores his big sister!
I just loved that he chose to ride on the back as if Addy was supposed to be in front, and he was just saving her a place!
The little dare devil always has to get a better look...

The next morning the kiddos had their soccer evaluations! I loved watching them perform!
One of Addy's shoes flew off mid jump!
Rohnin did awesome! Addy ended up on "shockwave" with several of her fellow class mates from school and Rohnin was pretty bummed when he found out that he wasn't going to be on Addy's team and was placed on"Lit'le Kicker's" instead...
We start our bed times around 6 now...which I love, the T.V. goes off, clean up time begins and the process for bedtime starts! If it is early enough I let them go into Addy's bedroom and read books, it also gives them a little bonding time together...yep it is a win win quiet time for everyone!!!
I was in a different mood one day and remembered a picture of kids running and jumping in the rain...and since I well NEVER really allow this I said "what the heck" rain gear on and they had a BLAST...poor Abram REALLY wanted to get in on this action...I loved watching them enjoy the rain together...PLUS Rohnin has had a pretty big 'Storm' fear and I thought this would be another way to get him over that and teach him to like or at least appreciate storms a little more... It worked like a charm... he does so much better now when he hears storms outside and his fear of the fire alarm and tornado drill (at school) has gotten DRASTICALLY better...YAY for playing in the rain!!!

I love that Rohnin is in Preschool, I was pretty nervous, for the teacher, at first...BUT he is doing A-W-E-S-O-M-E! It has brought out so many wonderful good qualities in him and he is talking TONS more, and doing SOO well in preschool, I am so grateful it has truly brought the best out in him, which has been such a treat to witness! When he isn't in school I just LOVE watching these two interact and play together, Abram just Adores Rohnin ( which annoy's Rohnin sometimes...hmm sounds familiar) On this day they were playing trains so good together...I just LOVED it!
Abram has learned that he has a secret unexpected weapon, he uses on the older kids...when they are laying on the floor he goes up and sit on their heads and jumps... Abram has become a sneaky little tease, I have to really pay attention to catch him in the act... clever little skunk! I catch him doing this little stunt here and there, and just hear the kids giggle as they yell A-B-R-A-M...by the end both are just laughing their heads off!
One afternoon...Rohnin had just got up from his nap and comes out and I turn around to catch this tender moment of love! Even today at the table I over hear them talking about how they are each others best friend! It is a love hate some days, but then others are just so sweet...
Yep I hear Abram getting into the trash a-g-a-i-n, dumping it out along with the spare bags I keep in it to refill and then a white booty walks in...B-O-Y-S... I am lucky to just keep underwear on this kid...and it is COLD... a friend came over and Rohnin (as he is watching T.V.) starts to take him pants off (oblivious to the fact that we have guest over, no does he care). As I ask him to keep them on he responds...I'm so hot mama...my response...you better keep that shirt on...most mornings he wakes up in his undies...Oh we put clothes on him ALL the time...but some days we have to just pick the battles with this one...
Addy was invited to a skate party for one of her buddies at church... they had such a great time!
These are her two girlfriends from church, she just loves!

Yes Rohnin had a great time too! He is always attached to his sister!
the next two...well...
like father like son... Any time Art "try's to sneak in some afternoon game time all the kids are right next to him with controllers trying to get in on the action too! A few of these times Art with start a game with them...it is pretty funny to watch BUT they ALL LOVE playing video games with dad!
Art found some kites on sale, and while he was gone on his interviews, he had promised the kids he would get them a surprise if they were good, so one Sunday afternoon we wen to a new park and enjoyed the good weather!
Rohnin's did pretty good, his is a fighter jet and Addy's is a fairy! We had a great time. Unfortunately as the kids were playing on the playground equipment I noticed a mother going over to the same little boy (who kept trying to get us to let him fly our new kites on our 'family day' and was a bit relentless) telling him to leave his son a lone, two seconds latter I watch him PUNCH Addison...now you better believe I marched over and got involved. I grabbed that little boys and said, "guess what you do not get to play over here anymore and that he was going back to his parents (who were NOT watching him because they were playing softball) and that it was Never okay to punch or hit anyone, let a lone a girl) As I am telling him this he is yelling 'you don't know who my mama or my daddy is' and I said "I don't care" well I guess he was more of a problem than I knew about... the mother apologized but didn't make her son apologize -unfortunately- a few of the other mothers stared this women down because I guess her son is a bit of a bully when she is playing her baseball...we left soon after this mother left...

Awe the blessing of the handy man! Rohnin sat with him most of this faucet replacement...it was pretty cute he Really wanted to help Art out! Abram may have gotten in the way...a little, but he is cute so he gets away with it sometimes!!
