The Verdict Is In...

Mesa Arizona...Arthur just got an offer in Mesa Arizona... from a husband and wife team! We are over the moon excited! It is a bitter sweet, surreal gift...After many long prayers, sleep-less nights, traveling back and forth and well the stress...oh the stress... We have been so very far from home these past four years...Eight total of not being able to live in the same state as all our family and friends. We have met incredible new friends who have become our family away from family, family, and people. We have shared amazing experiences and grown not only as a family of just 2... to a family of 5. We have learned to live on our own in many wonderful ways, relying on each other for, well, everything! SO bare with me as I share in this moment how, once again, the Lord has blessed our family with this little miracle!

Arthur has literally been gone for 3 weekends and well things are just barely starting to get back to normal, sort of... So he only applied to 6 fellowship programs, which in the beginning surprised me...but as this year has had many hiccups...we both are glad it was just 6...5 of which were in AZ and 1 in PA. We just didn't feel great about the 1st AZ and PA interviews, I couldn't keep all of them strait...SO jumping forward...Monday the 16th was his very last (2 day) interview and part of me felt that this was going to be a good one, yet holding back my thoughts from Art, unsure and nervous awaiting to hear back...The first day went well, he really liked this program...He still had to meet the Doctor's wife who also practices the same medicine...the second day went well! He sat down and discussed several items a few concerns and a positive possibility on a fellowship there!

Let me explain our prayer's...My prayer's have been that the words would be given to Arthur if and when the time presented itself of uncertainty... My personal prayers have been about family being there when my sweet Addison is baptized around this time next year... They have been to assist us with the faith and perseverance that we ALL needed through out this crazy time and I think towards the end of it all, we were just praying to be back home... We were both kinda of just ready and done with it all, and ready to move forward in our future together, with a bit more certainty and assurance! SO when Art called the 2nd day well...saying the Lord answered our prayers would be a "bit" of an understatement...

Art informed me that of ALL the interview's this one was the toughest, when it came to the drilling of question's, some of which Art was Not certain on how to answer...but in those brief moments, said: "that all of a sudden a thought of"  " you should say this ......" would enter his mind and so he spoke the words that were given... He then told me that he was really bummed at first because the main Doctor had told him that they had already filled the fellowship position, B-U-T that they were looking to add another for their Mesa office at the last minute. The Doctor explained that all the fellowships they had interviewed, NONE of them wanted to be in Mesa and that All of them wanted to be in the Phoenix area...Art at this point got a huge smile on his face and said " I'm your guy" The Doctor was happy to hear this and Art had a promising 95% offer that was a go for this Mesa fellowship. He just had to discuss it with his wife whom Art had interview and met with earlier that same day! He flew home a few hours later and well it was a LONG night of what if 's and worries until we had a 100% guarantee of, "YES" we would like to offer you a fellowship spot, within the next 24 hours! Well Wednesday beings to roll around and neither of us could really think strait...nerves, stress, the possible future...you get the point...he finally calls me mid morning to tell me briefly that YES he in fact was offered the position and will be sent the contract this week and then begin JULY 1st... For those who keep asking WE WILL NOT BE MOVING back to AZ UNTIL the END of  MAY beginning of JUNE!!

So to say our ever Loving Heavenly Father answered our prayers...well I would say gifted us with a beautiful little miracle of not only returning back home to AZ but to the very place we want our future to begin and all the little things in between that we have been praying for for YEARS... We truly are so very grateful and blessed to our Ever Giving, Loving Heavenly Father for this amazing opportunity to finally return home to our extended family...

I am so very relieved that we have our answer and that the interview process has THANKFULLY finished! YAY WE GET TO GO HOME!!!
