Our Crazy Busy YEAR!

Dear Family and Friends,

Wow, the year just flew by, and we still can’t believe our little sweet heart is one and Art and I are both a year older. Life is always eventful though and we are very blessed to be here in Henderson in the middle of our two favorite places, Utah and Arizona…

Well, Arthur is, thankfully, just 4 months away from being done with his second year of medical school: the book work, 18 hour days, and the terrible 2 weeks of block anxieties, yeah!!! He probably won’t encourage you to become a doctor AT ALL…but despite the enormous amount of intense and very difficult work load, he is enjoying the material and information he is learning this year. He enjoys playing the Nintendo Wii, visiting family, playing with Addy, surfing the internet, and spending time at home. He is a wonderful father, and loves being a Daddy! He is such a hard worker, and always astounds us with his incredible intelligence in just about everything he does. He is a gift to both Addy and I in his unique example of patience, and humor, through all of the tough obstacle that have crossed his path!

Addison Mazey is just over 16 months and is a very, sweet, darling, petite, and loving busy little bee!!! She has grown soo much in this past year, We find us missing all the little stages we have been through with her, but laughing and enjoying all the new ones every day…We have been back and forth from Vegas and Arizona the last couple of months, so Addy has been able to be around, and interact with our family and friends better. She loved exploring, being around “The Dogs”, and being the center of attention with both families! She is so intelligent, beautiful, and well perfect, we thank our Heavenly Father every day for the incredible, wonderful blessing she is in our family!

I absolutely love staying home with Addison, enjoying all her new words and adventures. I love when Arthur comes home and surprises Addy in some way. I truly love the many long phone conversations and simply interacting, or just hanging out with our friends and family. I have found many ways in staying busy with my time by working on crafts like beading, painting, quilting, reading new recipes and singing to Addy, while she cuddles with her mama, and of course hair! I am so grateful for all the many adventures I have had in becoming a mother and a doctor’s wife, and look forward to the many more that await me!

We truly love having family and friends come and visit us, it gives us something different to look forward to! We have had the privilege of having some of our close friends here is Vegas eat with us or vis versa about 2 to 3 times a week, which is wonderful and fun! We had some great down time over the summer and fall break, fun and exciting birthdays, and an incredible Christmas this year, surrounded by our ever supporting family and friends! We have some fabulous friends and family that we love, and appreciate in so many ways, and are always excited when we here from our family and friends here in Vegas, Arizona, and Utah!
