September Happenings!

SO I love it when my kids reach new skills! As a consequence for eating in the family room, the kiddos now get to help vacuum up their spills! They actually like to use the vacuum attachments but sometimes more is needed! Addy is such a blessing and a big help to the many messes that are made around here, I am thankful for my little "willing" beauty for always being caring, loving and a helper!
Rohnin Officially started Preschool on the Sept. 3rd...I was having some serious anxiety as to how he was going to do, BUT he is doing SOOOO great...it truly has brought the best out of him...I LOVE his questions and enthusiasm when he figures things out, he LOVES Mrs. Mickee he can't say his N's, so cute! I need to video tape him saying my favorite words that he says... he LOVES learning and all the fun things he gets to do at Preschool!
So our little Abram...is a bit of a mess maker...okay he is the WORST right now...I am SOOO ready for this "Phase" to be over...every time I turn around he is undoing something I JUST picked up, or cleaned, I have rubber bands on ALL my cupboards, to try and keep him out...he can get to and climb up on EVERYTHING...and when I turn my back for two second he is usually dumping out water...toys...food...clothes...well you get the point... He loves getting up on our various stools to reach his hearts desire, and the table and dresser are the places he likes to "chill" out on top of!!! I came out from cleaning the kids bathroom mirror and he was on top of the kitchen table dumping out my salt and pepper shakers... if there is something on Addison's dresser, he climbs up, sits down and thinks he is a king because he is so high up... YEP can we just say I am kept on my toes most days!!!!
It is a good thing he has the cutest little laugh and giggle...and that he is sooo darn adorable...he is testing us all left and right these days and we are just trying to keep him out of harms way... I just love his little smile... he is SUCH a sweet and loving baby... such a gift and blessing to our home!!
Art was on rotations in Mesa a good chunk of September, so one night I ventured out to the Benton Fair... this was the picture I got right before the very first roller coaster ride Rohnin got on...yep it only made it around once and he and several other little ones wanted OFF...too funny...he was NOT a big fan of the rides...

He is our slow and steady...play it safe, which I am SOO very grateful for! He loved the very slow train ride!
Addy was finally tall enough to do a good majority of the rides, she rode the swing ride for the first time while the boys...
sat and watched, the noise was too loud for Rohnin this was how he looked for most of this trip...poor guy! Abram...is always eating...I love having an eater!!!
He LOVED riding these next two rides...Addy is such a sweet security for this little guy...He adores his big sister!
I just loved that he chose to ride on the back as if Addy was supposed to be in front, and he was just saving her a place!
The little dare devil always has to get a better look...

The next morning the kiddos had their soccer evaluations! I loved watching them perform!
One of Addy's shoes flew off mid jump!
Rohnin did awesome! Addy ended up on "shockwave" with several of her fellow class mates from school and Rohnin was pretty bummed when he found out that he wasn't going to be on Addy's team and was placed on"Lit'le Kicker's" instead...
We start our bed times around 6 now...which I love, the T.V. goes off, clean up time begins and the process for bedtime starts! If it is early enough I let them go into Addy's bedroom and read books, it also gives them a little bonding time together...yep it is a win win quiet time for everyone!!!
I was in a different mood one day and remembered a picture of kids running and jumping in the rain...and since I well NEVER really allow this I said "what the heck" rain gear on and they had a BLAST...poor Abram REALLY wanted to get in on this action...I loved watching them enjoy the rain together...PLUS Rohnin has had a pretty big 'Storm' fear and I thought this would be another way to get him over that and teach him to like or at least appreciate storms a little more... It worked like a charm... he does so much better now when he hears storms outside and his fear of the fire alarm and tornado drill (at school) has gotten DRASTICALLY better...YAY for playing in the rain!!!

I love that Rohnin is in Preschool, I was pretty nervous, for the teacher, at first...BUT he is doing A-W-E-S-O-M-E! It has brought out so many wonderful good qualities in him and he is talking TONS more, and doing SOO well in preschool, I am so grateful it has truly brought the best out in him, which has been such a treat to witness! When he isn't in school I just LOVE watching these two interact and play together, Abram just Adores Rohnin ( which annoy's Rohnin sometimes...hmm sounds familiar) On this day they were playing trains so good together...I just LOVED it!
Abram has learned that he has a secret unexpected weapon, he uses on the older kids...when they are laying on the floor he goes up and sit on their heads and jumps... Abram has become a sneaky little tease, I have to really pay attention to catch him in the act... clever little skunk! I catch him doing this little stunt here and there, and just hear the kids giggle as they yell A-B-R-A-M...by the end both are just laughing their heads off!
One afternoon...Rohnin had just got up from his nap and comes out and I turn around to catch this tender moment of love! Even today at the table I over hear them talking about how they are each others best friend! It is a love hate some days, but then others are just so sweet...
Yep I hear Abram getting into the trash a-g-a-i-n, dumping it out along with the spare bags I keep in it to refill and then a white booty walks in...B-O-Y-S... I am lucky to just keep underwear on this kid...and it is COLD... a friend came over and Rohnin (as he is watching T.V.) starts to take him pants off (oblivious to the fact that we have guest over, no does he care). As I ask him to keep them on he responds...I'm so hot mama...my response...you better keep that shirt on...most mornings he wakes up in his undies...Oh we put clothes on him ALL the time...but some days we have to just pick the battles with this one...
Addy was invited to a skate party for one of her buddies at church... they had such a great time!
These are her two girlfriends from church, she just loves!

Yes Rohnin had a great time too! He is always attached to his sister!
the next two...well...
like father like son... Any time Art "try's to sneak in some afternoon game time all the kids are right next to him with controllers trying to get in on the action too! A few of these times Art with start a game with them...it is pretty funny to watch BUT they ALL LOVE playing video games with dad!
Art found some kites on sale, and while he was gone on his interviews, he had promised the kids he would get them a surprise if they were good, so one Sunday afternoon we wen to a new park and enjoyed the good weather!
Rohnin's did pretty good, his is a fighter jet and Addy's is a fairy! We had a great time. Unfortunately as the kids were playing on the playground equipment I noticed a mother going over to the same little boy (who kept trying to get us to let him fly our new kites on our 'family day' and was a bit relentless) telling him to leave his son a lone, two seconds latter I watch him PUNCH Addison...now you better believe I marched over and got involved. I grabbed that little boys and said, "guess what you do not get to play over here anymore and that he was going back to his parents (who were NOT watching him because they were playing softball) and that it was Never okay to punch or hit anyone, let a lone a girl) As I am telling him this he is yelling 'you don't know who my mama or my daddy is' and I said "I don't care" well I guess he was more of a problem than I knew about... the mother apologized but didn't make her son apologize -unfortunately- a few of the other mothers stared this women down because I guess her son is a bit of a bully when she is playing her baseball...we left soon after this mother left...

Awe the blessing of the handy man! Rohnin sat with him most of this faucet replacement...it was pretty cute he Really wanted to help Art out! Abram may have gotten in the way...a little, but he is cute so he gets away with it sometimes!!

A lot of First's for August!!!

This was really Abram's 1st ture adventure at "The Wonder Place" yep he L-O-V-E-D it!!!
I let Addison bring her good friend from church, Kate R. this is them taking off into the fun!!

I love capturing little moments with my boys playing so well...together!!
The girls found them a minute later!
I love Abram's face in these, he LOVED this little contraption!!!

Ha Ha Ha...this one just makes me laugh!!! Blurry but you get the point!!! Addy just Adores he little Abram!
They ALL had a blast and were not ready to leave... Trying to get one last bit of fun right before we walked out he door!
I took this because this was really the first time Rohnin REALLY started to get how to play games, with out mom or dad helping, with the mouse! Yay and every once in a while I hear a "Oh yaaaa baa bee" coming from a very  happy "Daddy's boy" playing him some super fun, educational games!!!
Abram will come running to the noise of my camera turning on...so I always try to say smile and take a quick one!! Oh and he does smile!!!
Yep the "30 minute turtle" was the first real, sorta, pet the boys have had that lasted all of 30 minutes until we freed him into the back yard of our neighbor's forest!!! I found him crossing our garage and thought we'd enjoy him for a minute!!!
See one of them is excited...the other well... GO free little turtle its better this way!!!
Oh my Addy always has to get her hands on Abram!!! He...well is always trying to get away before it is too late...lol...got to love her persistence!!!
I love this photo, one because Abram is laughing and 2 because there is a big wad of drool about to land on Art's head from all the teasing daddy does with getting him to laugh!!! LOVE these two silly boys!!!
We had such an amazing, summer...compared to the past ones it was fairly mild and we had several weeks were the weather was in the 80's...man I will miss the break in the weather patterns in AZ...and this gorgeous pool our wonderful neighbors always invite us over to swim in!!
Oh and Well... yep... I guess I slacked off for a while...but Addy started her First day of First grade on the 19th! She loves her teacher which this is her teacher's first year at H.P.E. and has several other friends from last year in her class again, so she was a happy camper!!

Dad was there to give a blessing the night before and a kiss goodbye for once...it was a bitter sweet day!!!
Her teacher is such a sweet and loving, petite, beautiful...well you get the point... we just love her!!!    Rohnin...well he had a hard time with out his beloved big sister there to tease and pick on...he just adores her...and when we went to pick her up... he raced up to give her a big hug!!!
This was after the hug...he sure does miss her when she is at school!!

We ended the busy first day of school with one of the kids favorite...ravioli...
I loved every one of these...it is a simple and adorable reminder of how M-E-S-S-Y this handsome little noodle is...We are just loving his sweet, squeaky, fun loving, tease-ish, dare devil...personality coming out. He LOVES it when I let him stay up to have some one on one time with mom and dad! He is such an adorable little skunk...the other day Art called me while I was at a soccer game with the two older sibling and he said all he did was pick a toy up play with it and drop it... The floor was COVERED in toys and the ever common "Abram disaster zone" it does help that he is so dang cute!!!

He loves to get the broom out and try to "help"out...He is such an excellent talker...he is saying "ank ooo" in this one!!! Hey I train them early!! ha ha not really...at this point it is just trying to contain the day to day messes this one delivers so hmm... nicely...
My other goof ball...All the photo's I try and get of this little tease are either funny, him turning away, or running off, so I have to be on my toes... BUT I will say this ALL of my kids love yogurt and this one...can put a few down without blinking...
Ha ha this one makes me laugh because he has a sucker in one hand and a pop ice in the other trying to keep him entertained while I "attempt" to cut his hair this is before the clippers are turned on...
This is after...lol... yep that sucker and pop ice have NO APPEAL... Art REALLY wanted to cut his hair the last go and well he kinda...sorta... nicked his ear, and well, the hair cuts haven't gone as smoothly since...poor guy if only is hair didn't grow so fast...
Don't worry he got me back...he knows how to take his darn diaper's off...and every once in a while I hear Addy or Rohnin squealing because they just spotted a naked baby running off... laughing...
 See...Goof ball...
Abram LOVES playing "peak a boo"... such a little cutie! We all just love this squeaky little nugget!!
